Our Company

General Informatics is an IT services company based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Since 2000 we have delivered performance and value in IT infrastructure, managed services, business solutions, and technical support.  These offerings are based on a deep commitment to understanding our customers’ business needs as the key to successful IT infrastructure implementations. 

As an award winning IT integrator, we have developed low cost processes to provide turnkey IT services and IT audits to public and private sectors at very effective rates.  With a group of highly qualified engineers and knowledge of the IT market, General Informatics has been delivering successful technology solutions to the Healthcare, AEC, Marine, and Retail industry.  We combine various IT components and business solutions into a functioning system, customized for the customer’s needs. 

Awards and Recognitions

Winner of the national Microsoft “Partner in Paradise” competition.  Created by Microsoft, the competition focused on helping fulfill the technology needs of smaller companies by capitalizing on the business value achieved through Microsoft Small Business software such as Windows® Small Business Server 2003, Windows® XP Professional, Office Small Business Edition 2003 and other related applications.  General Informatics won the competition based upon our implementation of a technology solution for Advanced Surgical Concepts, a Baton Rouge based medical center. 

Named “Company of the Year 2005” by the Louisiana Business and Technology Center at Louisiana State University.
