General Informatics had the pleasure of sponsoring the AIA Baton Rouge Rose Awards in July 2009 where many of its partners presented their award winning designs. General Informatics strives to provide turnkey IT solutions to its architectural and engineering partners and continues to support there hard work and dedication. The AIA Rose Awards celebrates the design excellence by local architects in several different categories such as architecture, interior design, renovation, detailing, master planning, and projects under development.

General Informatics would like to congratulate all of the entries and winners of this years Rose Awards. These design firms have crafted exemplary projects that have helped  developed our community. General Informatics would also like to personally congratulate our partner, Chenevert Architects, on their achievement of winning a Rose Award and for their continuous support.

“This project is the rehabilitation of a historically significant building in downtown Baton Rouge that was abandoned and near demolition. The LEED-certified building now houses Chenevert’s office space and four residential units. Additional project partners are: Carruba Engineering Services, Nesbit Associates, Monroe & Corie, Brown & Danos Land design, Leslie Herpin, Thompson Building Engineering Systems, General Informatics, and Arkel.” - Chenevert Architects
